Documenting the Thrashers poor attendance

This is what an announced crowd of 10,750 looked like on Sunday at the beginning of the third period of a lackluster 4-1 loss to Tampa. The photos pretty much speak for themselves, but I would add that there have been several times over the years that I thought the Thrashers had hit rock bottom as a franchise, only to see an even lower bottom. Can it get worse? Sure because they're not yet living in a van down by the river.

Come on Holly, you know its because of college football...right??? Certainly, it can't be from clueless ownership and comically poor management.

Ugh. I suppose I'm guilty of being one of the apathetic. I stayed home and watched on TV....well, as much as I could stand.

I also think we should scrap the Blueland marketing thing. "land" is a bit overstated. I think we should be "the family". We're run by the Teflon Don and their play is absolutely criminal.

Cheers Holly and Happy New Year

The upshot of the abysmal attendance is that you can get decent seats for $10. Like glass ones. I was behind a few people from Toronto at the Leafs game and they were having absolute fits about how tickets on the glass are $2K and a 3 year wait. Welcome to Atlanta, where they're $10 and a 20 minute wait.
