To celebrate their fifth anniversary, the Gwinnett Gladiators have special jerseys that they are wearing on five nights. Last Saturday was the second night. Personally I do not like the jerseys, but as some out-of-towners may be interested, here are some photos.
We begin pre-warmup, with Dan Turple out playing with a tape ball. He's spotted me.
Two fans make a football goal post, which Turps indeed shoots through. The guy in the black t-shirt is the father of one of the stick boys.
Tomas Pospisil and Myles Stoesz.
Pospisil licks his lips.
Hey batter batter... (Matt Anderson)
Anderson blowing bubbles.
Bryson Busniuk wonders if the stink he smells is coming from his glove or Mike Hamilton.
Chad Denny and Myles Stoesz
Denny and Stoesz plotting.
Turps hangs out by the bench -- this backup stuff is easy after starting so many games in a row. Next to him, Anderson sees something odd in the distance and Stoesz looks at Anderson.
Stuart MacRae looks downtrodden.
Jeff Campbell looks serious, as he always does. Even when he is joking around in the locker room, he keeps a deadpan on.
At the other end of the spectrum is Dinos Stamoulis, who is almost always smiling.
Here he's backing up and smiling.
You notice different things from ice level. Like the fact that Maximus is wearing goalie skates.
Skipping to the end, the team gets together one last time to try to stop Pensacola.

The guy in the blue jersey is Brent Anthonisen, Gwinnett Gladiators season ticket holder and bass guitarist for Second Glance, an Atlanta-based rock band.
